Fauzee Nasir

Founder

Graduated in Diploma of Architecture from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 1993, Fauzee pursued his post-graduate studies in Design & Digital Media at UK’s Coventry School Art & Design a year later.

In 2003, he co-founded Manggis Production Sdn Bhd with a mission to pioneer in wedding cinematography in Malaysia. Fast forward 12 years later, Manggis is currently listed under The Luxe List-Top 50 Asia with a strong client base from VVIPs and royalties to who’s who socialites in Malaysia’s social whirls.

In the local film industry, Fauzee is involved in various production of music videos and commercials spots with directors and DP such as Ghaz Abu Bakar, Pilus Ghazali, Aidilfitri Mohamed Yunos. In 2011, he founded Celebrate TV. He is the head of camera department and is in-charge in production team for travelogue shoots for two seasons throughout Asia – Destinasi Cinta Bersama Air Asia, a brand content for Astro (satellite pay tv), My Mosque, another travelogue series on History Channel and some other outstanding reality shows.

He has worked alongside with San Francisco-based producer/director Jason Lopez for Intel and Alcatel-Lucent. He has attended workshop by Stillmotion (Australia), Patrick Moreau (Oregon), Den Lennie (United Kingdom) and recently with Pulitzer Prize winner Vincent Laforet (New York).

Fauzee was one of the participants in the Steadicam Gold workshop held in Kuala Lumpur and certified as a Steadicam Operator. Emmy award winner, Stillmotion “reality documentary” method was introduced to Fauzee in 2009 after attending the workshop in Melbourne, combined with camera and lighting method mentored by Den Lennie and Vincent Laforet who taught him directing the motion (and blocking of a camera). The skills and knowledge that Fauzee acquired has earned him a myriad of techniques in camera work and storytelling.

A graduate from the Multimedia University (2000) with a Bachelor Degree in Multimedia and later a Diploma in Producing from New York Film Academy in 2012, Nazura founded Manggis Production Sdn Bhd in 2003 from scratch together with Fauzee, followed by the inception of Celebrate TV, a significant milestone, eight years later.

Her early success in the arts was a turning point in her life. In 2001, Nazura accomplished a dignified presence when she presented a digital poetry titled ‘Perjalanan Jiwa’ (Journey of Soul) at E-poetry Festival at State University of New York, Buffalo which subsequently earned her a prestigious place for the e-poetry presented at the famous arts’ hub in Pompidou Centre, Paris.

She co-founded Manggis Production when she was 24 years old.  Due to her achievement in the industry, she was awarded as Cleo’s Young Achiever in 2007. In 2018, Manggis Production was awarded The Brand Laureate Bumiputera Best Brand Award- Creative Content Production.

She has been commissioned to produce, direct and edit many wedding cinematography assignments from all over the world. Spearheading Celebrate TV, she created and produced Raikan Cinta – a highly rated TV program on Astro which runs up to 6 seasons in Astro Ria. Since 2017, she has been the Executive Producer, instrumental in supervising many outstanding contents from reality, variety, lifestyle, telemovies and digital content working with local and international broadcaster.

Graduated in Bachelor of Accounting (Multimedia University, 2001) and Master in Business Administration (Nottingham University Business School, 2013), Fariz is the CEO of Celebrate TV since early 2016.

After a seven-year stint in Telekom Malaysia Berhad focusing on financial operation and reporting, among others, he spread his wings to joining Saudi Arabia’s top mobile telecommunications company, Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) that saw him to be part of a team to lead the whip in financial planning and strategic initiatives.

After pursuing Business Administration master’s program at Nottingham University Business School that earned him a distinction in 2013, Fariz joined Pos Malaysia Berhad that gave him the competitive edge in developing, planning, reviewing and presenting a five-year business plan in tandem with the company’s Transformation Management Plan.

In Celebrate TV, Fariz is entrusted the task in exploring new business frontiers while ensuring business stability. One of his passions now is to promote innovation within the company outfit in a cohesive effort to better serve the customers, company talents, shareholders and other stakeholders.

Fariz’s forte is harnessing business sustainability, besides developing intrapreneur whilst acquiring new subsidiaries for Celebrate TV for technical crewing services and digital content creator respectively. He also overlooks and develops shared service operation unit on Finance, Human Resource and Administration, as a support to the group’s operations.
